This privacy policy tells you about the ways in which Actiw Oy protects your privacy and personal data we process about you and explains the principles of the data collection and the purposes of using the data and informs you on our use of cookies.
This privacy policy applies to all personal data collected in Actiw website (www.actiw.com) when filling in online forms.

Collection of personal data
When we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you we will ask it in online forms on our website. You will be asked to complete online forms when you want to request specific services or information from us. We may ask you to provide us with information such as name, e-mail address, phone number, company, country, product interest and description of your contact needs.
Certain technical information may be collected automatically as a standard part of your use of our website. Such information includes, for example, your website access times, pages you visit, the links you use, the content you viewed, information about your devices and other such technical information your browser provides us with.

Actiw may use cookies in connection with our services and collect personal data. Cookies are small files that are saved on the hard drive of the user’s computer. Cookies facilitate navigating in our website and increase user-friendliness. Our website uses cookies to remember your selections.

Third-party services
Actiw’s website is using a form which is connected to Salesforce cloud computing service as a software (SaaS) company that specializes in customer relationship management (CRM). Actiw’s website includes also links to external services, such as Facebook’s, YouTube’s, LinkedIn’s and Twitter’s share buttons. Third-party service providers can use them to install cookies on the link user’s computer, and the use of these cookies is beyond Actiw’s control.
Purposes of using personal data
Actiw uses personal data for the following purposes:
- To deliver services or support your request or purchase
- To manage, host, analyze and develop the customer relationship
- For market research and direct digital marketing in accordance with applicable law
- To comply with any mandatory legal requirements and/or in connection with law enforcement or other civil or criminal legal proceedings
Transfers of personal data
We may share personal data with third-party subcontractors when processing the data. Such third party subcontractors process the data on behalf of us. The subcontractors may be located in countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. These companies may process your personal data to offer, for example, infrastructure and IT services, or other services. In these situations, sufficient data security and the processing of the register is ensured with EU-U.S. – Privacy Shield arrangements, or by means of an agreement with the use of model clauses approved by the European Commission.
Protection principles of personal data
When processing the personal data we carry out the technical and organisational measures necessary for securing personal data against unauthorized access, against accidental or unlawful destruction, manipulation, disclosure and transfer and against other unlawful processing.
Only the data controller and separately appointed persons have access to the register data. The users are subject to a non-disclosure obligation. The register data is safely backed up. The level of data security is audited at regular intervals by either external or internal audits.
Retention period of personal data
The data controller shall store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose the data has been collected, within the limitations set out by law and in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, particularly in accordance with accounting requirements.
Right to review and amend registered personal data
As a data subject, every person whose personal information we have collected has the rights set forth in the GDPR. The register’s data subjects have the right to review, rectify or remove their own data or refuse data processing for justified reasons. Requests must be made in writing and submitted to the data controller above. In accordance with legal requirements, you must sign your request and attach to it a photocopy of your identification document, which shows your signature. You must also indicate an address to which the response is sent.
